Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was an Argentine with Scottish and English descendance. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. The family is originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to take the time to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor started at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person who hired her to be an experienced model.
