Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop sensation, is one who managed to move over from country music to mainstream pop culture and become an iconic figure in the world of pop. She also conquered all over the world in the process. Swift shed the country influences as if they were an additional layer of skin. She revealed that she was one of the best singers/songwriters of her generation. Swift could make the event personal and use it for her benefit. Swift's early songs, including her neo tribute to Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. The album from 2008 Fearless showcased a writer who was discovering herself and was able to draw a wide audience. The album was hugely successful not only in the United States and six of the singles have been declared platinum, on top of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and You Belong with Me. But it also smashed records across all over the world. Swift's next album Speak Now, released just two years after the first one, consolidated this momentum. It propelled Swift to superstardom. With her subsequent three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation, Swift's popularity grew and she became part of the world of pop music in which it became clear she deserved to be. In the end, when she refocused her music to the stripped-down versions of 2020, Folklore, and Evermore, she still remained in the top spot. The position was defended through re-recordings of her previous catalogue as along with Midnights, her synth-heavy chart-topping 2022 album.
