Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and performer most well-known for her role as host of The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. She spent the majority of her growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from the disease of polio. Growing up, she had difficulties with her mother. Sheryl claimed that in one instance, her mother had attacked one of the parents to her son as she had been a little too closer to him. Sheryl when she graduated from college, joined the army. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV professional career in 1992, when she appeared as a frequent actor for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as a host on the TV program Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. She has played in fictional shows including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
