Selleck played a major role in a variety of TV movies in the new millennium. These included the Jesse Stone series in which He played a New England police chief. The role also earned him an Emmy nomination, and he served as the producer for the film. Selleck portrays a police commissioner who belongs to the multigenerational family of officers in Blue Bloods. The drama premiered on CBS in 2010 and was then revived. He appeared in the hugely popular Three Men and a Baby with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg which became the most-grossing film of all time.
